What a sensational thrill and vast relief it was this week to see my author copies of my new 365-day devo, Bless Your Heart: Daily Devotions to Warm Your Heart & Feed Your Soul, piled up like a small mountain at my doorstep! The boxes are so heavy, Spouse said we need to rent a crane to transport them inside. What a terrific problem to have! I feel so, so blessed.
As you may recall if you’ve been keeping up with my blog and Facebook posts (and I surely hope you do!), the entire shipment of my books from China (where most US books are printed), was delayed indefinitely because of the new tariffs. The original release date was July 15, then got pushed back to August 15, then September 9. I was really worried that they wouldn’t make it off the container ship until Christmas!
But bless my little pea-picking heart, here they are.
Well, at least mine are here; yours (assuming you preordered from Amazon or other online vendors and if you haven’t yet, it’s not too late!) will still be delivered on or before Sept. 9, which is really right around the corner. So do celebrate with me!!! And watch for some drawings for some great Bless Your Heart merch just around the corner on my website (with announcements right here on my blog) and special giveaways for my launch team (THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to those of you who signed up to help get word of Bless Your Heart out to those who need a hug from Papa God).
I can’t express how much it means to me to have you beside me on this crazy journey called life. It’s my joy and privalege to pray for each of you, my dearest BFFs (Blessed Friends Forever), whenever you share your needs and requests through the comments below. And the beauty of having a community of caring BFFs is that it won’t just be me praying for you, but your other sisters in faith too.
Oh, and after you’ve received your copy of Bless Your Heart, please remember to read enough to give you a feel about the content (you don’t have to complete the whole book, which would take a year since it’s a 365-day devo) and then leave a review at Amazon.com, on your social media haunts, and other reader-friendly online sites you frequent, like Bookbub and Goodreads.
Short, from-the-heart reviews have been determined to be the BEST way to spread the word about a new book, and they have a HUGE impact on readers looking to try out new authors and titles they’ve never heard of before.

Okay, one more exciting announcement!
If you’re a fan of YouVersion (click to open) Bible plans (and if you aren’t, you should check it out – the app is totally free at the App Store and you can download excellent online short Bible study plans from all your fave authors also for free), my publisher has just posted a Bless Your Heart plan using excerpts from the book for 7 days of encouragment conveniently right on your smart phone at no cost to you. Please feel free to share this info with your friends who could use a special little pick-me-up from Papa God during the grind of the day.
P.S. I’ve personally used YouVersion for years and can’t recommend it enough. In fact, my Too Blessed to be Stressed plan is still available in the Bible app (downloaded by thousands) and also my Too Blessed to be Stressed for Moms plan. Be sure to download them too if you haven’t already.
Thank you again for hanging in there with me through the delays on the delivery of Bless Your Heart. I pray above all that Papa God will bless your heart, my faithful BFF!
