Just for fun, let’s continue our Christmas getting-to-know-you questions this week. Our crazy community of BFFs (Blessed Friends Forever) would love it if you answer at least one question in the comments below (some of you have been emailing me your answers, which is great for me, but not as much fun for the rest of our BFFs who want to get to know you better too).
But before we get to this week’s questions, I want to once again shout congrats to the BIG BFF Giveaway winner, Trina Whitson from Tennessee, who happens to be on vacation in an awesome Christmassy place. Many of us (especially me!) would sure like to be right beside her in this photo she snapped (at my request) when she found out she won. Hugs to you, Trina, and don’t break a leg on those ski slopes!
Now, here are today’s Christmas Ice Breakers:
- What’s your favorite childhood Christmas memory?
- How about your favorite adult Christmas memory?
- What gift do you remember receiving that just about knocked you off your feet in surprise?
- What’s your favorite kind of Christmas cookie?
- Your most cherished Christmas tradition?
Okay, here are my answers, then it’s your turn!
- Freezing my knubies off in north Georgia at my Granny’s house and gathering around the fireplace with giggling cousins toasting our toesies.
- The birthday cake for Jesus my kids and I made each year while they were growing up.
- A handful of much needed $20 bills from my parents the year we were sinking beneath the financial waves.
- Chocolate blobs (no-bakes), chocolate crack (dignified name is “Chocolate Brickle” on p. 76 in my Too Blessed to be Stressed Cookbook), and chocolate kiss/peanut butter cookies. Hmm. Do you see a pattern here?
- Putting out the old “kid-friendly” nativity set from my own childhood so all children are welcome to touch them and reinact the first Christmas.
Can’t wait to hear your answers, my friend. Let’s all remember to keep “Christ” in Christmas! Hugs!
