Dearest BFFs (Blessed Friends Forever), I want to take this time to wish you a precious moment of joyous reflection during your celebration of the birth of our Savior. That may look like different things to different people …
- a stolen moment of quiet in the solitude of the walk-in closet to earnestly thank Papa God for the gift of His Son
- brushing away a tear as the magnitude of “Silent Night” touches your heart during a candlelit service
- reflecting on the loved ones who once were beside you opening gifts but have now graduated into the presence of the one true gift (Jesus)
- being awed by Papa God’s glorious light display of hope (sunrise)
- the good news of “Joy to the World” makes your heart swell within you
- a friend’s thoughtful remembrance of your ultra favorite Christmas cookie
However the blessing looks for you, I wish it for you with all my heart, my friend. Bless your heart!
And say a little prayer for someone you know who is hurting.
This Christmas, let’s seek more presence and less presents.
Love, Deb
