I’m super excited about these new scripture cards just sent to me by my publisher! Aren’t they adorable? They’re meant to be companions to my new devo, Bless Your Heart, and are officially titled, “52 Ways to Bless My BFFs.”
I’ll admit when they arrived in a big box at my door and we tore into them, Spouse thought they were playing cards since there are 52 cards in each box and he got all hyped (we’re big “Spades” players – it’s a fun card game if you’re not familiar). He was a bit disappointed when he discovered they’re scripture cards, and do NOT have numbers or royalty or aces printed on them. (I’m guessing the CHRISTIAN publisher thought it best not to mix potential gambling temptation with our potential devotional buyers, although in my humble opinion, sharing Papa God’s Word at any time and in any capacity isn’t a bad idea at all – you could stoke your joker while playing poker!)
