This dyed-in-the-seersucker Floridian feels sooooo blessed! I had an unexpected BOGO blessing this week (if you’re enjoying my new 365-day devo, Bless Your Heart, you know that for blessings, that means “Be One, Get One”)! I motored up to our family Smoky Mt. cabin to love on my grandbuddies and whadaya know – snow! [*Cue Bing, Danny, Rosemary, and the impossibly slim dancer gal from “White Christmas” here.]
Now I know that’s an eye-roller for those of you who live in the great white north – anywhere north of Tallahassee – but if you come from the land of flat white beach sand and year-round sweat like me, a dusting of snow is a unique treat. Why, it was 12 degrees with a “feels like” temp of below zero! Wowzers! I had on three shirts and a coat and was still cold.
In all, we had two to three inches of ice and snow up on our mountain, just enough to carpet all the rocks and transport us to a magical winter wonderland.

Laz the Resurrection Dog didn’t have a clue what that cold wet stuff was and kept lifting up his paws like a circus pony.
My grandkids’ big dog, Ranger, a seasoned mountain dog, looked like he had a major case of dandruff all over his thick black coat.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my snowy praisefest in the Cathedral of Papa God’s Creation this week with you via a few pics. For those BFFs (Blessed Friends Forever) sitting in your cozy living rooms by a roaring fire watching unwanted fat, white flakes descend from a steely gray sky, please reserve judgment and humor me in my joyous celebration.
Remember the old saying, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”? Well in this case, one woman’s pain in the derriere is another’s delicious delight. HUGS!!!
When and where do you have a deliciously delightful praisefest in the Cathedral of Papa God’s Creation?

So happy for your family. This was a kiss God blew to you! Memories that will last forever.
God bless you and yours!
