Since the beginning of this year I’ve been promising you some BIG news when the time is right … and today it is!
I’m excited to announce that I’ve just signed a contract with CAG (Christian Art & Gifts) for a new 365-day devotional to release in 2025 (title TBA – hopefully within the next few months).
Those of you who are aspiring authors already know that the wheels turn slowly in Publishing World (for traditionally published books, as opposed to self-publishing, which is generally quicker), so the way it works is, my manuscript is due this summer (deadline Aug 1) and the publisher then puts it through several different rounds of edits/rewriting/formatting before it’s ready to go to the printer approximately one year later. And then the 3-month countdown to the release date will be a flurry of activity when I’ll be needing some very kind volunteers to read and hopefully give the book an endorsement on FB, Goodreads, Bookbub, and Social Media (could this be you?), while the publishers look at the number of preorders that are accumulating and decide whether it’s worth the risk to offer me any future book contracts (these days those preorders are SUPER important!).
It takes a village to get a book out there, and I hope I can count on you, dearest BFFs (Blessed Friends Forever), to help me launch this book well. As the release date nears, I’ll be sharing more info on how to do just that. And I hope you realize how much I appreciate your help – I need YOU!
I’ll be planning some cool contests and giveaways that you won’t want to miss. Nothing makes me happier than giving back to you every chance I get.
