Well, the bad news is IT HURTS AS TERRIBLE-AWFUL-BAD AS THE FIRST ONE! Another revelation: I’ve turned out to be a whiny baby in my sweetly matured state (old age). I used to be a tough young broad and now I’m an old squealer every time I rise to my feet (accompanied by a lot of heavy breathing and coyote type howls.)
It ain’t a pretty sight.
The good news is that it’s over and I’ve run out of knees to replace. So I choose to hang onto hope for a painless day or two sometime in the future. I don’t seem to be having the intense hamstring meltdowns like I did with the left knee seven months ago – Praise Papa God! – so I can actually sit for more than 45 seconds now. Yay! (Very important position for a writer!)
Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts and food! I feel thoroughly loved by my BFFs (Blessed Friends Forever). How may I pray for you, dearest BFF? (For some strange reason, I have a little bit of extra time these days).
Now let’s be optimistic – who wants to sign up for a footrace in October? Hugs to each one of you!

I had no idea! I will definitely be praying for you!

So sorry for the pain, and completely understood, though mine is sciatic pain in the legs and rotator cuff pain in the shoulder. Feeling for you, Sister in Pain. And so thankful that Father God has better things ahead for us. (I didn’t expect getting old to be this painful! LOL!)

Lots of prayers for your recovery!! Take good care of yourself!!

Oh, Deb, I’m so sorry you are having to go through this again. While I’ve had many surgeries, I’ve never had this one but have heard it is one of the most painful surgeries a person can have. I pray your recovery this time is quicker and easier than it was on the first one.
Tricia Pimental says
Wait, I can’t remember (being sweetly matured myself). I think I missed this second surgery. When was it? I will be remembering you in prayer. And by the way, you look adorable in the photo. You do like like a youngster, my friend.

I’m sorry you’re having a hard time with the pain! Hopefully, someday soon you’ll be able to say, it was worth it! Continuing to lift you up in prayer! ?????

To my good friend and excellent editor. You’ll be kicking field goals before you know it. Who knows, you might even end up on the Bucs squad.

Still praying. Thankful it’s done and over and you’re mending! Love you ?
