I believe:
- In the accuracy and infallibility of God’s Truth, as revealed in His holy Word, the Bible.
- There is but one God, manifested in three persons (also called the Trinity): the Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit.
- The sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on a cross as payment for the sins of mankind, and belief in His miraculous resurrection on the third day, is the only way to a dynamic relationship with God, the creator of heaven and earth.
- The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ made Him triumphant over death and sin; eternal life is promised to those who trust in Him. This is the gospel (good news) message He has commissioned his followers to share with the world.
- The Bible contains God’s powerful and effective instruction for daily living, which is the basis for my writing and speaking ministry: studying and applying God’s Word in consort with constant prayer as we learn together how to live our faith out loud.
- My ministry scripture verse: “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service” (1 Timothy 1:12 NIV).
